Privacy Policy
MacGregor Smith Hockey is operated by GB PTP Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16207447), registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. GB PTP Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: privacy@macgregor-smith.com.
What we collect
When you join the Cosmic 01 waitlist we collect your name, and your email address, your mobile number, or both. You can also tell us your preferred stick length. We record whether you opted in to marketing, when you did so, and which version of this policy applied. We do not store your IP address with your sign-up, we do not use analytics, and this site sets no cookies.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- Telling you about the drop. You asked us to notify you when Cosmic 01 is released. We rely on your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the form.
- Other marketing. We only send news about MacGregor Smith Hockey and future releases if you tick the separate, optional box. That box is never pre-ticked. This is consent under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
You can withdraw either consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or STOP instruction in any message, or by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything already done lawfully.
How we protect it
Your details are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Your name, email address and mobile number are encrypted before they are written to our database, and the encryption key is held separately from the data. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the release.
Where it is stored and who sees it
Data is stored on servers in the United Kingdom operated for us by Amazon Web Services, acting as our processor. We never sell your data. When we send the drop notification we may use an email or SMS delivery provider acting as our processor; we will update this policy to name them before doing so. Fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until 12 months after the Cosmic 01 release, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner. If you opted in to marketing we keep your details for that purpose until you unsubscribe.
Children
If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to join the list for you. If we learn we hold details submitted by a child under 13 without a parent or guardian, we will delete them.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Email privacy@macgregor-smith.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the version date above.
